The Zeno 20 is the first dedicated, job-site tough GIS asset collector to support the Android OS. With Esri's Collector for ArcGIS app and ArcGIS Online, GIS crews can populate maps directly from the field.

ZenoCollector handheld packages achieve sub-meter to 5cm accuracy and include a Zeno 20, an ArcGIS Online account, and Zeno Connect, which enables the Zeno 20 to run the Collector for ArcGIS app. Upgrade to a pole package with an external antenna to achieve sub-meter to centimeter-level accuracy.

This is, bar none, the fastest, most user friendly way to get up and running with a high-accuracy GIS system.

Packages Include:

The Zeno 20 with standard scope of delivery - soft bag, rechargeable battery, stylus, charger, usb cord, hand strap - and ArcGIS Online Level 1 Organizational Plan with 5 Named Users - a complete mapping platform that powers Collector for ArcGIS. If an organization already has an ArcGIS Online plan, then the Zeno 20 with Zeno Connect is all is needed and can be purchased without ArcGIS Online.

Upgrade to the Pole Package and receive the AS10 external antenna, an extendable carbon fiber pole and the Zeno 20 mounting bracket.

Zeno 20 vs Android Smartphone

Esri's Android ArcGIS Collector app is free and will run on either the Zeno 20 or an Android smartphone. A typical smartphone's GPS accuracy can reach ~5 meters in open sky conditions. That's accurate enough to consume location data, and 5m (~15ft) can also be accurate enough to collect GIS data depending on the use case.

When 5m isn't accurate enough, the base Zeno 20 included in this package achieves sub-meter to 5 centimeter accuracy using the same US-operated GPS satellites that smartphones use, plus the Russian GLONASS constellation, plus DGNSS or ground-based RTK corrections.

Upgrade to the pole package with an AS10 external antenna to achieve ~1cm level accuracy.

 Prices start at $7,030.00.

The Zeno 20 is the first handheld GIS asset collector to run Android (v4.2).

Android utilizes the second core in the Zeno 20's 1.5 GHz dual core processor and taps the full 1GB of RAM. The result is faster load and zoom times, more robust data connections, and better WLAN coverage for data correction and data synchronization.

Run any compatible Android app to turn the Zeno 20 into your mobile office. In addition to Esri's Collector app, you can use productivity apps like Skype, Ansana, even WebEx (just don't let the boss catch you playing Angry Birds in the field.).

  • The Zeno 20 uses the Texas Instruments OMAP 4470 Dual Core platform @ 1.5GHz for unparalleled speed.

The OMAP 4 platform integrates Texas Instruments’s industry-leading SmartReflex™ 2 technologies to enable high performance at low power. SmartReflex 2 technologies combine intelligent and adaptive silicon, circuit design and software to solve power and performance management challenges at smaller process nodes, enabling sleeker, multimedia-enabled mobile devices with long battery life and less heat dissipation.

  • True hot-swap battery. No shutdown needed. Up to three minutes of backup energy is stored between battery swap.

    Battery Specs:

    • Standby: 50 Days
    • BT Only: 20 Hrs
    • GNSS Only: 8 Hrs
    • GNSS & Modem: 7 Hrs
